Honest :: Raw :: Editorial
This project is by far my favorite to date. It was inspired by a photo exhibit, which showcased multiple expressions and personalities. The vision was to capture a mature and modern take on portrait photography. Each person was asked to show the truest side of themselves. We wanted to capture the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, because guaranteed someone else would be feeling the same way and might just need to know that they weren’t alone. The most stunning part of this process was that people responded almost as if it were their responsibility to embody honesty, allowing their expressions and body language to share a story. We encountered many of them, that otherwise, may have been left untold. The beauty and brilliance of honest faces left quite an impact. My favorite part of this project: the process.
